Spicy Steak Chili

A spicy, hearty steak chili with lots of beans that's very filling and budget friendly.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soak beans in cold water 6-8 hours or overnight, then drain and rinse.
  2. In large soup pot over medium-high heat sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add cubed steak and brown.
  3. Add spices and tomato paste and mix well. Add broth and canned tomatoes, and bring to a boil.
  4. Turn heat to low and simmer loosely covered for 4 hours stirring occasionally until thickened and beans are tender.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
