wholefoodnut's Journal, 10 Oct 16

Monday, Monday they are always tough. We had a busy day at work and worked through lunch but did not have to stay late. I did order Chinese as the place the company was ordering from has a pretty good cashew chicken-- not deep fried and all chicken, veggies and cashews cooked nice and crunchy and veggie packed small eggrolls. I had 2 bites of the fried rice, not really worth eating. The tomato sauce on my pasta was homemade from tomatoes from my garden. My calories are a bit over my 1400 but they will even out over the week. Probably should not have had the beer when I came home.

The weather is bouncing around and my body is feeling it. One side affect of not exercising is increased pain, so I can only blame myself. Arthritis and fibromyalgia pain is reduced with continued exercise (especially strength training) which I have been neglecting. I did do 30 min of a TRX workout with a couple breaks but back doing it the easiest ways. I've met my goals here today-- now to get a few household chores done.

my arthritis and fibromyalgia pain vanished on a ketogenic diet with added coconut 'oil pulling'. If those pains are troubling you, it's something to consider.

Erika, it's lack of strength training that is causing the bit more of a flare. Low carb is not for me as it makes me sick. I've been on maint for 3 years so don't need to lose more. The 65+ pound loss made a huge difference. So back to exercise for me- besides I love how it makes me feel.

You are an inspiration to me! My arthritic foot is happy with my 20 pound loss - looking to get down another 40 to get rid of the back pain too!
