I walk everyday about 3-4 miles and I find it very beneficial both for my health and well being...I don’t own a car and whilst I love driving I mostly don’t miss it. It’s hard work to start with but keep at and it becomes the norm. Been walking everyday now for over 3 years. I definitely recommend it x

I use a walking desk at home, so walk a few hours each day while typing on the computer. Helps massively!

I get a 30 minute walk in at lunchtime at work (twice around the campus perimeter) and then we usually go for a walk at least one day at the weekend for around a couple of hours. I've read that it isn't the best exercise and we should be getting mildly breathless for at least 10 minutes at a time each day but for me it's relaxation and time for me and my husband to chat (my phone bill generally only has one number on it! Billy no-mates or what :D). I do find I've regained some of my heart and breathing fitness back, if that makes sense, since I started concentrating on walking though.

I walk nearly every day with my husband. Stamina greatly increased, helps weight loss and clears the mind!
