Deliciously tendered oxtail casserole.
Ingredients
Directions
- Brown the meat in the hot drippings, once done move it into a bowl.
- Fry off the diced onion in the same casserole dish and add the butter to melt through.
- Add the meat back in with the spices, stock and top with water.
- Bring to a slow simmer with the lid on and cook until the meat is tender.
- Take the lid off and continue to cook until the meat is ready to fall off the bone.
- The sauce should now be sticky and slightly thickened, season to taste and serve.
