Oxtail Casserole

Deliciously tendered oxtail casserole.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Brown the meat in the hot drippings, once done move it into a bowl.
  2. Fry off the diced onion in the same casserole dish and add the butter to melt through.
  3. Add the meat back in with the spices, stock and top with water.
  4. Bring to a slow simmer with the lid on and cook until the meat is tender.
  5. Take the lid off and continue to cook until the meat is ready to fall off the bone.
  6. The sauce should now be sticky and slightly thickened, season to taste and serve.
