Cheesy Bean Burgers

Very quick and easy to make bean burgers that taste really nice.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Crumble the slices of bread into a food processor.
  2. Add the beans (drained and rinsed), the finely chopped onions, the low fat soft cheese and the salt and pepper.
  3. Whiz in the food processor to create rough paste.
  4. Put the oil into a frying pan (or use spray oil) and heat it gently.
  5. Either using your hands or a large spoon, shape the mixture into burgers.
  6. Fry the burgers 4 at a time in the pan. Fry each side for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve with salad.

Reviews
These burgers were really good! I found that they did not stick together real well when trying to flip them in the pan but....as they cooled they held together nicely. They were also filling. We put salsa on ours.
