I just try and keep under 1000 cals per day, and try to make my "net calories" after inputting exercise in the region of 1000 per day. So far this has helped me lose in the region of 2 lbs per week. No special diet, just sensible eating :)

I'll be honest, seeing you say "...under 1000 cals per day ..." rings alarm bells but then I don't know your height or activity levels. Just be certain your body has enough micro-nutrients and doesn't slip into "starvation mode". Well done though, it's an awesome result and I'm sure you'll know to adjust as you go on so maintenance becomes second nature 👍

Hi Phooka, I'm a little short a..e at 5ft 1in and shrinking. I'm retired so life is quite leisurely, I guess my activity level is somewhere between sedentary and low active, so don't think I'm going into starvation mode, but thanks for your message. :)
