About 9,000 steps today, better day. Haven't logged calories yet but should be fine.

A bunch of herbs cut for use this winter, my garage smells terrific, like oregano, thyme, and lime basil all mixed together. I left the mint as it tends to like cool weather. Have more to do tomorrow before the cold arrives on Friday. The forecast has messed up my after work plans this week. Should have gotten more done, spent too much time eating peel and eat shrimp; yummy but takes time. :)). Something quicker for sure tomorrow. I counted cutting herbs as housework.

Our team @ work is doing a food day again. This time for our immediate boss's birthday during our monthly meeting. Everyone is chipping in on Church's Chicken and cake and bringing sides. I signed up for cole slaw, with them it will be the normal mayo based slaw, might take 2 kinds; one that fits my plan more but something a little different. I do really like cole slaw in almost any form. Will be choosey about my choices.

Great job on the steps! I love the smell of fresh herbs hung to dry. Need to do that next year!

Yes, you are quite the stepper! I like cole slaw too and had a delicious cabbage salad when out over the weekend, similar to cole slaw, but dressed with olive oil & lemon -- it was yummy too! xoxox

ooh herbs. that's amazing. I have absolutely no green thumb (can't even hold on to the basil in my kitchen), but I do love the smell and cooking with it. Wish you could bottle that lovely smell. Well done on the steps. Wholefoodnut, you do know about shellfish and asthma, right?

Peel Shrimp is like crawfish - looks like so much but it's a lot of shell :-) Definitely a labor intensive meal.

I can't hardly keep them alive inside, I try every year and they last for a little while. Need to get busy, had to have some dinner. Shellfish don't seem to bother me. I mostly re-act to junk in the air and chemicals. Perfumes and cigarettes are awful. Mold spores are not nice but blue cheeses not a problem, the mold is a different type than the ones that get to me.

Steps are mostly normal travel in my day. I work in a cube but the bathroom is about 80 steps one way, the break room, refills on drinks, water, ice is about 200, the printer about 30, 400+ to the entrance from my desk. Working, doing chores, playing with the dogs around the house after work all add more.

Allergies/asthma issues are killers this time of year for me. Between the pollen and leaf mold. Have the prescription drugs, hate to take them but have to in order to breathe. !!!!Please anyone with issues that could be life threatening take your drugs. I have had 2 friends die because they didn't take their asthma drugs. Same holds true with other preventative drugs, work with your doc. Please do it!!!
