Slept a little better, still awake a couple hours during the night and up every hour, still it was better. Last day of 2 prednisone then down to one. Will start my day with a walk, funny how that makes such a huge difference in my day.

Have switched to my grilling/smoking cookbooks. I need to start a list of yummy sounding things to try, and a shopping list for some basics. Besides meats there's lots of fish, veggies, even fruits in the 2 books I pulled out. I really want to try grilled watermelon!!Of course many will be changed by me to fit sticking with my plan.

Will finish my split peas and spring greens soup after work today. Most of this week will be meatless though I am doing tilapia on the grill with herbs on night.

Time to hit the showers so I will have time to walk even though my body says stay on my bed and drink more coffee.
