If it hurts to eat maybe soup or health drinks maybe a option because they may go down easier unless it is the swallowing in that case it may not help but take care and get well soon

Aww that sounds awful 😣 don’t worry about low cal if you’re struggling to eat, your body needs extra calories to mend when you’re unwell. Hope you feel better soon, fingers crossed 🤞 it’s nothing too serious and if it is we are all here to listen x

I would guess Crohn’s disease, which is not nice. Poor you, see a doctor or nurse who will be able to advise. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Crohns-disease/

They are thinking crohn's, some other serious bowel condition, testing for inflammatory bowel disease and bloods to check if bowels are bleeding. I've been in agony for a long time I hope I get some answers soon. I now cant sleep its affecting all parts of my life

Mind you my niece had problems of this sort of thing too and they did every test imaginable for all the common causes. She went to various hospitals, all ended up scratching their heads. In the end she went to Guys Hospital in London and saw a specialist, who found found out it was a parasite she had picked up, when on holiday some years before. This after spending years at various hospitals doing tests. Her weight went down to around 6 stones, but she is now on the mend and slowly gaining weight again. It just goes to show how difficult it is to diagnose something like this. The best thing to do is stay positive and know they will find the problem :)

Been years it comes and goes but they were determined to keep checking for cervical cancer, blaming my poly cystic ovaries and endometriosis and kept saying see how you go. Now all that had been ruled out they finally thinking bowel and willing to do things. Been horrible I've even ended up hospital crying in pain them writing to docs saying bowel tests and doctors saying no
