About Me:
Hi, Thanks for stopping by. I am a happily married, 53 year old special education teacher. My husband is my best friend of 24 years! We have lots of fun together. I love my job and cannot imagine doing anything else in my life! I have 3 wonderful children who are grown ... 35, 29, 23! My life is great!
My weight has always been a roller coaster ride, since my teen years. Four years ago I lost 100 pounds through strict diet and tons of exercise, which was exciting. Though I have slipped some, I have managed to keep off 80 of those pounds. Right now, I am focusing on eating the right foods and exercising(without it being too much) so I can lose about 60 more pounds. I don't think I can diet anymore, what I really need is a way of eating for life. So after much research and exploration, I have decided to return to a low carb diet because I feel as though I could live with eating that way for the rest of my life. It is also the one diet in which I was able to lose and maintain my weight loss. Plus now various websites make it even easier and more doable.I am hoping that here I will find support and guidance to help me complete this journey. I look forward to making new friends and meeting with success.
