It was a nice sunny day today, so despite the cold I decided to walk into town, just over a mile. Then I had supermarket shopping to do, call at the post office to buy stamps, call at the left parcels office to pick up a couple of parcels, walk to a shop to get a new belt for the vac and another shop for labels and wood glue. All told I walked for over 1 hour 45 minutes, it was very cold by the time I'd finished and my hip hurt as did the muscles in my thighs and I'd walked alot further than my original 1 mile. Now off to get warmed up and have a cup of ciffee.
