Tired today, the body is sore from fighting the lawnmower through taller thick grass that it as not built for. I'm taking me rest day today re: exercise, my body is telling me to do so. I spent some time just sitting outside reading, it's a nice evening and petting the crazy pup. Of course reading one of the new cookbooks The Spices of Life by Troth Wells. It's an interesting history of the spice trade as well as a cookbook. Pretty fascinating. I'm almost drooling over the recipes, they sound so yummy. I will try a few in the weeks ahead and may put him on my list of authors to collect. He has a number of books that sound interesting. OK I'm a food and cookbook addict and love to cook new things, dang I need to get working on my dining room so I can put up a bunch of new shelves for cookbooks only, mine are way too full; double rows of books.
I'm also trying to find some snacky food to take to work on Friday that can either be cold or in a crock pot. My team likes boring mostly processed stuff so it's hard for me. Fruit and veggies aren't something most of the will even eat. MMMMM
