I'm sure I've missed some posts the past couple days, have been busy and not on here very much, a few minutes here and there @ work.
I did get in a 30 minute whole body tRX video and almost made it through the planks! The side ones still with an extra hand down for support but less weight on that arm. Progress even if I ended up in a quivering child's pose for a few minutes.
Coolness is invading with a front and rain, only a high of 73 predicted for tomorrow and low 80's the rest of the week. This is too cool for August, usually close to 100. Scary, as what will the winter bring?

They are tough Izzy with your feet suspended. It makes your whole body work.

Core work always leaves me in a quivering child's pose...LOL

I am working on handstands and have to go back to some more core work I think. Yikes where did all my tummy muscles go

Nichol, handstand? I wouldn't try those.. Work on some abs if you tummy muscles aren't supporting you. Glen, it's 60 this am. Not liking this.
Thanks kattay, they make me feel good. HCB, whole body shaking after those...

I think it still counts if you quiver.

Giggeling silently @ work. Quivering muscles at least means you have pushed them a bit further.. LOL I just stay there for a few minutes until I can move again. My dog looks at me like I'm nuts

Well done on the planks! It sounds like you are almost there with the side ones!

Sounds like a great workout. Reminds me I still need to do more core work, just talking about it doesn't get it done.

Jim, there is an impossible to me looking TRX workout out there but a cool quote by PJ. "Fitness is not a spectator sport". I LOVE that quote. This suspension trainer has to be the best fitness $50.00 investment yet for me, besides my gym membership, course that's more $$. I need to get myself organized again so I can work gym time into my weeks.

You'll be sporting 'crop tops' (temps permitting, of course) and a cheerleading outfit for your 6-pack photo in no time!!

Laughing, no cheer outfit for this gramma. My bikini goal was revised from 66 birthdy to 67. If I'm lucky I'll get there. Hoping to lose these gramma wings (bat wings) as well. Then my grandson Nick can quit coming up behind me and jiggling them, he thinks it is soo funny. He loves to harass me.
