Try - fail - adjust.

This is what the winners do. This is why I am here. To loose weight and get healthy.

I planned to fast for 48 hrs. but only made it to 30 hrs. I didn't throw the towel in because of headaches, low energy or any physical ailments. I just chose to eat food. What I DID NOT DO when I broke my fast was binge eat. I calculated a potential meal, put it together and ate it. I like to have a beer or glass of wine with my dinners but similar to how I haven't had any coffee since Sunday morning because caffeine stimulates your appetite, I chose not to have alcohol when I broke the fast last night because I didn't want it to crush the fat burning affects of the fast.

I enjoyed my dinner last night (see my log) and made the decision to do another round of an extended IF starting from my meal last night. After diner, I prepared my 0 calorie broth last night and placed it in my bag to take to work which I will have for lunch with some seltzer to give my stomach a full sensation.

Plan it, execute it, record it, make adjustments if necessary, and repeat.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!!!!

No matter what you do you always plan. Either you have a great plan in place to keep up the awesome job, or you plan to fail by not sticking to your plan for success. Awesome job. Keep up the great work.

Good luck on your journey! I'm doing IF, too - Fast for 16 hrs each day - from dinner to lunch the next day - I have a strange schedule, so for me that means from 5 pm until 9 am the next morning. I just started last Wednesday - and really didn't work out the details for a couple of days, but I'm down 3 lbs... Anyway - enough about me - May your journey be successful!

After this post, I turned my on my blackberry, stepped outside and knocked out 1.45 miles in 22 minutes in my work clothes. During lunch break, I plan on logging another 3 miles. Riding this momentum train.

Abstaining from alcohol is a smart move, I encourage you to consider giving it up permanently. A thirty hour fast is a significant accomplishment, great job! It's a learning process that you're still figuring out but you're doing really well, keep it up.

It's all a learning experience. All the spinoff effects of the fast are yours. The calorie reduction is a bonus, but none of this has to be done fast. In fact slow is more stable because it moves toward lifestyle. Well done, Chester.
