Thanks Nikina, it’s been snowing here and now it’s turning to ice. I love snow, but only when it’s soft and fresh. Hope you got your visa sorted. It was such a rigmorale when I did it years ago.

Aah, it's always good to hear of someone on the other side of the visa rigmarole, as you say. I will be glad when it's done tomorrow, but then comes the 8 to 12 week wait for the result, but I'm still feeling fairly positive.
We have 2-3 cms of snow forecast tonight, so I'm hoping it will be melted, or soft and fresh, and not slippery and sludgy tomorrow. I have very bad memories of falling flat on my arse walking in snow many years ago, so I still would rather avoid it if possible. Pretty to watch falling outside, protected by a lovely double glazed window, though. 😊👍

@nikina I laughed at the picture you painted, watching snow through a window. I remember the first time I went skiing. I thought I had died and gone to narnia. The country pubs around had roaring fires and everything was picture perfect (just like the books I’d read as a little girl, dreaming of snow), until I got out of the chairlift and fell flat on my face😂. Still one of my favourite memories. I hope your visa stuff goes smoothly and you get it back asap.

Wet snow! Ad! Just be grateful it’s not hail or sleet. I always go away in winter but due to an unavoidable commitment I’m stuck here for winter 🥶. I forgot how wonderful the wet, cold weather is.
