TGIF FS😊. Weight gain not unexpected but did have a little cry. Now to try and do better today. It’s frustrating when you gain weight but convince yourself you can just about squeeze into things! I have a mini break at the end of this month and would be good to get back down to 57.6kg before then if I can. I’ve fallen out of love with intermittent fasting. It was what really helped me the first time round. Those of you still doing a version of IF, how do you stop the boredom and fatigue setting in? I’ve also noticed I’m just not drinking enough water and weirdly am not enjoying the taste of water…😅🫣
59.9 kg Lost so far: 3.5 kg.    Still to go: 9.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I put an effervescent vitamin of some sort in my water bottle, Suma. Just now, its collagen, then a Vit C if I get through that. Plus loads of cups of tea.

Thanks Anne, that reminds me to start taking my iron again. I have the liquid and it still makes me feel awful! Maybe I’ll try iron flavoured water…sounds like irn but! I’m sure it’ll help energy levels. I used to love those vit Cs as a kid, the orange flavoured ones.

I've been doing IF for 3 months and have found it best to view it as a lifestyle shift rather than a diet. 2 litres of water a day is vital if you want to keep losing weight but that's tough. Try flavouring your water with herbal teas like peppermint or ginger or just adding a pinch of turmeric to hot water...Also, to break up the monotony, I fast for different lengths over a week, ie sometimes 12 hours, sometimes 18 or 16.
