Step one on going stopping drinking alcohol aim to have a drink on my 60th.
Step two record what eat and drink partly achieved tried to stay within RDI as set by FS I had to reset my RDI thank you your help Nikina in telling how do this. I think my target is more realistic now I believe FS was to low.
Step three starting to day the hardest step so far to do one form of exercise a day
96.2 kg Lost so far: 12.7 kg.    Still to go: 9.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

That's. Because I decided to get on with my life instead of mopping around, intead in living a few more years yet life begins at 60 not 40.

Nice start! I was like a road swell before due to free food everywhere from traveling 😎 I’d start with 3-mile brisk walk if you haven’t started yet. All the best my friend👍

Yes, I do enjoy the calming scenery and even stop to smell the flowers - To motivate further, I try to record all my performances or lack of them (minor injuries etc) using Strava, Iphone health apps. Good luck !
