I agree with HumpT. You are the Queen of FS and you’ll get back to it in style x

Yes, you two. This Queen can't seem to accept that she can't eat what she wants without putting on weight. But I refuse to succumb to middle age spread. 😤 😡😀

It is menopause that has caused me the most trouble, Elizabeth. I really have to eat a lot less to maintain and actually losing weight is torture 😐🙂

Aww, Heather. It can be very disheartening. Try not to compare yourself to others. There are too many variables to consider. What i have found over the years is that every 5 years or so I have to adjust my diet or exercise plan as my body ages. Luckily, I have known what works for me since I was 20 so its variations on a theme. Can you think back to a time when you were happy with your weight? What did you do then, can you apply that now with modifications, if required?

Stopping cigarettes was absolutely the best thing you could have done and shows great willpower. But yes the combo of increased intake and menopause must have caused the weight to shoot up. Keep at it, check your calories and keep moving 💪
