1 week of trying to be good, taking a leaf out of Anne’s book. Weight immediately following break was 56kg, so technically a drop of 0.7kg. Hoping I keep momentum up this week. I’ve been struggling with IF. Has anyone found that it’s hard to get back into it once you stop? How did you do it?

I think I follow that 🤔 😄 I find the best way for me to do IF is to work it around my day as opposed to working my day around IF. And remember that your longest fast is probably when you are sleeping so build on that, before and after.

I was typing in a rush😂…it almost made sense to me. I managed 14.5 hours today, so really pleased. I was out for dinner last night and was worried I’d reach for a late night snack.

Perfect! No late-night snacks, sleep, late breakfast and it will become just part of your daily routine. Saying that I only IF Mon to Fri but that means I can make IF part of my life for the long term.

I do IF. I do the 16/8 fast over night. I eat 10.30 till 6.30. just fill on fluids first thing whether water, coffee but black. I've managed to avoid picking evenings . and I stay doing 7 days so it becomes routine. some days I may go till lunch without food but others as soon as 10.30 here I will eat. it's just as many healthier choices in the middle. my crap go too if you like us the fibre one protein bar. so. actually fulfills sweet need but all good otherwise

I was half way through a bag of popcorn last night and I could hear Anne’s voice saying ‘No late night snacks’😂. Didn’t stop me finishing it sadly. But it’s a start I suppose.

Thanks Pawz. You seem to be in a great rhythm. I’m aiming for 4-5 IF days this week as it is a 104 hour work week which is thoroughly exhausting 🥵☠️

OK, let me say it a bit louder......NO LATE NIGHT SNACKS..........!! xx I go and clean my teeth if I get a snack attack late in the evening. Or I just go to bed. Its so difficult with the long shifts though, Suma.

Don’t laugh, I was in bed trying to sleep. But I got up, had the popcorn, brushed my teeth again and then bed. I was impressed by my level of effort to eat some popcorn😂. If I could only funnel this effort into better habits instead…and I will, just need to keep at it xx

Nadia as you eat at 10pm due to work I would start your fasting 10.30pm until 2.30pm following day if your doing 16/8. . Would that be do able?. It doesn't matter times you eat, it's sticking to calorie deficit and only in an alloted timescale if you choose to do IF along side it.

Lol, Suma.......sorry, just had to laugh at that.....

Nadia, your a lovely size bird I'd try up calorie intake as 1000 is too low. I'd aim for 1700.- 1800 if active . If not try 1500. The weight will still fall off but u may find you have more energy. Keep protein intake up. And try not to stress. Easier said I know but that definately not good for weight control. And remember you are loved no matter what. X

my easy grab & go, quick protein top ups are Chicken trimmings, leerdammer light cheese , eat lean protein cheese, fibre one protein bars , Lindhals protein yogurts, for sweet cravings. Have to say this week I'm not doing so great. Been decorating so haven't got the walks in etc and feel bit deflated and drained. sadly been eating too many carbs and.i.know.ive been doing it, I've got till Monday to try snap out of it as that's weigh day for.me..
