Weight loss so far in September is 0.9Kg and it's bang on for what my calculations using the std 7700 calories deficit would suggest and hopefully this will continue. It feels really slow but my body weight really is just obeying physics.
The gym exercises really are working and my waist is now 36" from 38" less than a month ago. Last night I managed four press-up in a row!

This morning I have just completed an 11 mile walk jog and apart from doing up my shoelaces midway though when my pulse shot up to 165 for nearly 10 minutes I kept my HR well under under my MAF Heart Rate of 120. Lesson learnt here is always double knot shoelaces when running.

My daily deficit in September is slightly higher than plan at 500 calories rather than the 350 I was going for but it's obvious to me that I'm not losing muscle which was the whole idea of reducing deficit from earlier months.

I have a lot of strimming to do in the garden today - not much fun

Have a great day all of you.

Thanks Booty I'm finding getting fitter is quite intoxicating. My latest is trying to touch my toes - Never been able to I spends 30 seconds trying each day.

Touching your toes is a really tricky thing. I used to teach gymnastics in the UK and it is far easier for some than others. My mother had short legs, and all her life her party piece was to put both hands flat on the floor. But your other achievements are impressive. 11 miles is a heck of a distance. Well done.
