The first part of September is the first time that my weight loss rate has fallen below the standard 7700 calories per Kg. It's quite frustrating that my weight has stalled but at the same time it also feels inevitable. Putting on muscle and losing weight at the same time wasn't going to be simple as the just losing weight bit of a diet.

When I look back at my spreadsheet from my 2017 diet I went from nine months of more than a 1500 - 900 calorie daily deficit to immediately overeating and I put back on 5.5kg in two months - Some of this was muscle because I had started running regular 5k park runs at that time. Then I got myself absorbed in moving houses, the running stopped and my weight slowly increased and my fitness levels dropped.

Trying to learn lessons from this prior experience is 100% the reason I had been slowly ramping down my deficit and why I know that I need to keep recording my calories at least till past Christmas. Today I'm feeling a bit of those weight recording anticlimax blues. I know I have to just suck it up and need to distract myself from those issues today.

A long slow jog today plus a tidy up in the garden are called for.

Don't feel down Adpully,,overall uv done amazingly well,,think of ur fitness level even 6mth ago and look at what ur achieving now, you don't realise what an inspiration you are to ppl like me! ❤️

Cheers - I'm lucky the blues never seem to worry me for more than fifteen minutes and also pleased that I can be some sort of inspiration.
