You can't give up already! Double-check your calories, eat more good stuff, do more exercise. Keep adjusting until things start happening. But don't give up!

I find that even with counting my calories things like too much bread and pasta makes me gain , also hormonal changes in the month can give me gains of 2-3lb but they do go again. Water retention is a biggie for me especially now in summer so I try to drink at least 10 tall glasses of sugar free squash a day (I hate plain water) Don’t give up you can do this! 👊👊👊

what us your daily calorie intake at? how many meals do you have per day ? what's your activity level per day? and what is your job? these are all factors you need to look at.

Thank you all. You are so right. Going to try more fluids and protein this week. See if that helps

Kenny, my limit is 1300 a day and I am averaging 1100. Moderact activity and a desk job but I keep moving and walk regularly.

Smudge your about the same weight as me and that calorie intake looks a little low, but it’s not super low but this can sometimes have the reverse affect and make your body retain water or especially if you are consuming these calories as carbohydrates then it will convert into sugar (glucose) and your body will hold on to the sugar because of the new diet (low calorie intake) I’m weighing 162lbs and having between 1500 calories a day and 1700 that’s my max limit! I aim for the 1500 but if I fluctuate a bit between them it’s ok as it helps your body to not think your starving and work as normal! My advice I’d try this for a week (even if your sceptical) and see if it changes anything! If you want just aim a little higher at 1500 as your max but At your weight even 1700 calories every day should lose at least 1lb a week so nothing to lose in trying to eat more (bonus) plus my own personal advice (not scientific like the last bit so it’s purely my advice) is limiting white carbs to one or two portions a day and never after 6pm Hope this helps Xx

Hi smudge that's very low amount of calories. I'm a competitive natural bodybuilder 5 weeks into a 20 week diet. I'm 82kg and on 2700 calories a day.

ok, this has happened to me before. have a few days of from calorie counting. dont go silly, but also get some calories i. you. you need to kick start your metabolic rate. it has got used to living on a low amount of cals. have a big steak with chips, have a cream cake, have toast. plateauing is common. just needs a kick start.

Have u tried a low carb high fat diet? I haven't ever succeeded with calorie counting. Try dietdoctor.com I've been a member for 5 weeks and will never go back to the way I ate before. The food and recipes are amazing!

Please don't give up. This is exactly how I felt a few weeks ago. I was on a super low calorie diet with almost no carbs for a few days (1200kcal) low energy, totally discouraged to go on and started to gain again after losing a few kilos. Definitely felt miserable. Upon researching I realized that I was doing everything okay but I should consume more carbs and I just started consuming a lot of fruits and vegetables as snacks. Averaging around 1800kcal now. I feel energized most of the time. So, please don't give up. Having the right balance for you might even be easier.

hgc drops from biovea are also a good supplement to kick start and normalize a sluggish metabolism

Do you drink enough water? Do you eat few small meals instead of two large?

Hiya! Don’t give up! Ive been doing this for about a week and I already feel better about myself. Make sure you drink plenty of water and swap sugary snacks for fruit or cucumber and a dip. One snack I like is apple a dot of peanut butter and honey. It’s delicious and low calorie. Or you could try raspberries with 1 chocolate chip inside it. Hope this helps. Good luck!! X

Don't give up! Water definitely is one thing I always fail at but when I remember I see the difference in the scales. I have said I'm restarting literally more times than I can count, it is possible. Look at all your followers stories, their journeys have not been smooth, but they're still here x You can do it!! 💪🏾💪🏾

Don’t give up!! Weight on the scales doesn’t mean much, I’m a power filter and I’m heavy but it’s muscle & muscle burns more than fat! So don’t stress, the weight will continue to burn off. Don’t give up xx

hey smudge. don't give up. please don't mind me sharing this plan try for one week this. water 2 liter divided in meal time. wholemeal bread with two boiled eggs / scrambled with vegetables/salad of your choice. lunch 100-150 gram of protien with salad/vegetables dinner 200_250 gram of protien with salad or vegetables. in between if you feel peckish have palm size mix nuts or fruits like one orange or berries with youghart. I am not dietitian . you know best what you can have or not. but this diet plan has been followed by my dad. he had no allergy of nuts. please check with your allergy. he lost 18 kg in 3 months. I don't know how many calories that will be but my dad is not very mobile. n he still lost weight. I had no hope. but I was surprised to see reduction. first big change we could see was after 3 weeks. if you add light jogging or brisk walk it will be extra good. n you will do it.👌
