Tired of these windows 10 updates. Something keeps freezing my computer since them and erasing what I type. Or apparently reacting to some unknown hot key commands that are happening as I type.

Today is starting better. Not as much early am coughing but some still here. Am positive this crud is slowly getting better. I hate taking all these drugs, but I guess needed at this point.

Not being able to do much for awhile, reading the vegetarian cookbook I pulled out, it's 1100 pages it is inspiring me to get back to cooking as I like to and to try new foods again. The challenge will be putting recipes in the cookbook so I can track. That always seems to be very time consuming especially when the measurements of things there are often in servings not in reasonable measurements. Tomorrow is back to tracking and staying within my parameters, also back to work no matter what.

I have a shopping list, or at least a start of one of some stock up foods to have on hand that I do not currently have or am almost out of. I'm hoping to brave a trip to Sprouts and Natural Grocers today, first time out of the house except the docs since a week ago Friday. Other items will be from ethnic stores that I can stop in after work as they are near my route home.

Hoping my new food processor shows up today. USPS 2 day priority mail should be re-named 5-7 days. This is the 3rd time in a month for delays and it's not due to snow or ice. The tracking indicates they just sit in a facility for a day or two before being shipped out.

Today also means getting some much needed laundry done. There is a warning out for freezing rain this am, it's above freezing for the first time in over a week so that probably won't happen. Hoping for non-frozen eggs.

I will. The roasted carrots need a bit of seasoning tweaking but they are good. The cauliflower a basic go to. Toss cut up cauliflower with a bit of olive oil and seasoning of choice, I especially like curries or fenugreek. Spread on a flat baking sheet and bake until somewhat browned, about 20 min. Add some chopped onion to roast with it if you want. Easy to heat up for later or even nibble on cold or add to a salad. I made it through some grocery shopping. Didn't find everything I was looking for but bought some things I hadn't thought of. So pretty stocked up for the month except for some additional fresh fruits and veggies. The eggplants are roasted so time to finish up the curry. I have wheat berries, oat groats and lentils soaking to sprout they will be for myself, the cat and the chickens. Bread is on it's first rise. Back to prepping.
