I'm on over 2 weeks of little dairy, no alcohol and no meat. I am feeling good. I have only used my rescue inhaler twice, I have decreased both my allergy and asthma meds. I am back to working out most days, made it through all but the planks on a 30 min TRX workout, did have a couple short breaks and I'm back to my goal weight. So continue with this WOE etc.

My goal is to get in shape and really work on core strengthening. I would love to lose this flabby midsection and a real plus firm up my upper arms (not sure that will ever happen). I love how good I feel when I'm getting daily exercise. Not sure why I started neglecting exercise but the neglecting rather became routine. No more excuses.

Good for you! Sounds like things are going well. I can relate to your line about not being sure why you neglected exercise! I have been thinking exactly that as I have been getting back into an exercise routine.

Redgirl, most of mine right now are TRX workouts and working on planks. Planks are definite for core and arms. I'm working at getting back to the TRX planks--hard to do with your feet suspended. I have a kettle ball on my desk at work and do some overhead backwards reaches (no idea if there is a name for them) that are good for triceps and also loosens up the upper back from sitting at a desk all day. My upper arms have the "granny wings" would love to decrease those.

WF, thanks for the reminder.. I need to drop my 8 lbs weights under my desk for tricep extension while working. And I hate planks LOL but they are sooo good for you. I would really love to work my abs at least 2x a week.. Ill get there again.. Sounds like you are on the right track

Redgirl, hate planks as well--try them with your feet suspended in straps about 8 inches off the floor. LOL

Ok.. I have a kinda stupid question... I feel like I should know this but, what is "TRX workouts"?

DocsBabydoll, Not surprising I haven't seen it talked about much on here for a couple years, though this where I learned about them. TRX is a brand of suspension trainer. There happen to be a lot of youtube videos out there using their brand. I have a different brand WOSS that is much less expensive and is really well made, I actually like it better than the TRX I use at the gym. I can't get a link to a video to work on a reply for some reason but will try to message you one. on YouTube type in a search for TRX and you will get a lot of choices. My basic workout is 30 minute TRX Body fit by Amy.
