wholefoodnut's Journal, 09 Nov 16

As always everything on this journey is choices. I have been lazy a few days, my choice, cannot blame anyone else. I was tired but could have pushed myself and didn't. I also ate catered in lunches 2 days, then regretted my decision, cannot blame anyone but me.

Today my food choices were good. Went ice skating after work. Skated for 30 minutes and enjoyed it immensely, would have been longer but glutes were complaining. Will do longer next time. There is an outdoor rink that is open Nov until Spring not far from where I work. Being a senior it's free since I have my own skates. Unless it is Christmas break it's pretty quiet on weekday early evenings. Last year -weather permitting- I was there 2 or 3 days a week and sometimes the indoor rink on a weekend afternoon.

Time for lights out. Enough sleep is so important for weight control and your overall health.

I'm glad you are back to skating as that is something you like to do.

As always, you do get out and find the time to enjoy yourself. How cool that seniors can skate for free!! I hope you got a good nights sleep. It's hard to NOT eat catered food when everyone is enjoying it. Hope it was worth it in taste. Hugs!
