Anne_145's Journal, 01 Oct 16

I seem to be hovering about 62kg. I would prefer to be hovering about 61kg especially with birthday and (I know I shouldn't mention it so early) Christmas coming up!
Have a good weekend everyone.

Mince pies and Christmas cake spotted in Morrisons today! Oh and my favourite, rum truffles.

Oh dear. I bought mince pies at the CO OP today. I'm treating friends at the club tonight.

We are on dangerous ground here, pals. We are going to start fantasizing about Christmas food and its only 1st Oct (noticed pigs in a blanket out of the corner of my eye today....................)

Last year I decided not to eat any Christmas goodies till a few days before the day itself, and that certainly helped. It's easy to start eating mince pies in November, and end up eating two or three a day for a month 😱 In the past I typically used to put on half a stone or so over Christmas, but last year no problem. I plan to do the same this year 😁

Good strategy. I will try and do similar this year. I also try and lose a 1kg before Christmas to offset damage!

Can someone help me. Hubby and I have a very expensive Warner's Break planned at Christmas. It's one that the company owe us from last year. BUT it's all eating and drinking!🍰🎂🍹🍟

We've done Warner hotel breaks, and my recollection is that dinner is a buffet, so it's easy to load your plate up with meat and salad or veg, and nobody is going to force you to eat the chips if you don't want to! You can order from the menu, but we found the menu items generally sounded better than they were, and that includes the puds. Also there should be lots of daytime activities on offer, so do them all, and you can get plenty of exercise while having fun. Which one are you going to?
