wholefoodnut's Journal, 20 Jan 16

It has been a stressful week or so dealing with insurance paperwork and researching vintage and antique items that were stolen. It's affected my exercise as everything in your life affects everything else. Life happens.

I've been working back up to workouts after the holidays and events following-- back to working on that Granny six pack. Thankful tonight I made it through my 30 minute TRX video workout but not quite through all the planks without some rest. I've gone a bit backwards on my stamina but will get it back. I did have to stop to send the pups outside as when I got on the floor they both decided it was time to lick and play. ;)

Ice skating is in the plans for the weekend even if it's just me. I will take my skate bag with me tomorrow but it will depend on the weather. If we get the possible predicted ice I will come home instead.

I hope the stress dies down soon so you can get to your normal routine. Ice skating sounds nice, enjoy!

I hope you can sign off the paperwork soon so that you are able to spend more time doing what you want to do. It sounds as if your pups enjoy your workout time too!

That paperwork is so tedious and time-consuming. Pups are funny, though, made me laugh!

You're absolutely right about that, life happen's and other thing's take top priority ie. having the "pups" around. I do hope that you get to go ice skating this weekend.

So happy you have your sweet funny pups and that you are getting out ice skating. You are a strong woman tackling the insurance claim with such focus. Get 'er done!

Laying on the floor being licked by a puppy would be great stress relief! :)

The pups are hysterical!! They make me laugh so that is soo good. Hard to work out though with them attacking me with their tongues.;) Dang cold, no ice about 1/2 inch of snow, but a migraine. I've been flirting with one of those for the past few days and it attacked today, though not a disabling one but wanting to hide in the dark and dizzy. Luckily they are rare now and used to be chronic so can't complain about one or two a year. I came home, will go skating this weekend at an indoor rink. Watched the local and national news, had a snack, played with my new camera during the news (learning how it works) and lights out by 7:30, no bright lights. Drugs, magnesium, and valerian for the headache and sleep to chase it away by morning. I'm missing my exercise tonight but dizzy and exercise do not mix well.mmmmm Also just a very light snack instead of dinner, not up for eating. A call in to the fix it people but a message left, they submitted an estimate to get the damage on my house repaired via email. The sent me a form to electronically sign and send back to them but my computer has it quarantined and it won't open. Sometimes these security systems are too much.
