30 minute ab workout at the gym and about 15 min of stretch out on the TRX. 3 weeks since I have been there. Usually I spend more time but I was really concentrating on abs and pushing my previous limits. Interesting because I upped the weights, added more reps and little time between sets. It wasn't as hard as I was expecting. My arms and legs are still recovering from the last 4 days of workouts. It did feel good though.

I think I'm a bit nuts, came home went hunting on ROKU for fitness channels found a free one NetFit. Went to the Pilates workouts so am watching workout videos while I'm eating dinner and doing a few chores. They seem pretty good, more ads than I like for 5 hour energy, on their water breaks, funny. Am I becoming addicted to exercise?

calories are a little high again thanks to the avocado for lunch.

Exercise does give you a 'high' as well as a general sense of well being from the extra oxygen etc. As long as its not excluding you from the rest of your life...have at it, there are worse things to be addicted to lol. I hope in ten years I can keep up with you.

Funny, as I was reading your entry (before I got to the next to last line) I was thinking, "It's almost as if she's become addicted to exercise!" But ditto what Nic posted . . . I can't believe you say ~1400 calories is "a little high" for someone in maintenance with your daily activity level1!

Actually here is some logic as I don't exercise nearly as much as many here: My workouts at home are 30-45 min sometimes only 15 if I'm busy or sometimes no time. The gym is usually around an hour when I have time to get there. I've been turning on the exercise videos to run while I'm doing other things. On the TV they just run on a sequence until that series is done. I'm so bored with TV shows and I don't sit through them anyway most of the time. These I can peek at here and there, stop and watch for a few when I see something interesting, and don't sit and watch all the reps. It's given me some ideas of things I might want to try. I've learned a lot more about the TRX and other suspension ones like mine; I've found a couple kettle ball workouts that I like, so new things to do with those I was getting bored with what I knew. One somewhere on youtube, might never find it again, that was giving some great tips on stretches and simple things to do when you are stuck at a desk all day to loosen up your back, neck and shoulders (I've been using those). I do that with cooking shows also if I hear something interesting stop and watch. My calories usually run around 1200 or less and it keeps my body very happy, so yes 1400+ is a little high for me the last 2 days. 1400 is my arbitrary max for an average but I rarely get there.
