Heading for the gym after work. Will get another workout in on Sunday as it's supposed to rain. Have been doing 100 partial squats per day and am good on steps so far this week.

It's been a busy week of grandkid's ball games. More on Sat am as they are attempting to make up some rained out games. We will see if those happen as heavy rain is predicted much of the weekend.

With the rain my weekend will be back to work on finishing some things on my kitchen re-do.

I did get my grapes planted yesterday and some perrenials that I had picked up on clearence. The grass still needs mowing. Finding peat moss turned into a challange and more time used than I had figured.

Dang! just found out we cannot wear jeans next week due to client visits. I don't think I have anything else that fits! When our dress code changed I was wearing size 8 pants now I'm in size 4... I will have to check my storage closets and see if there is anything. The last thing I want to do is buy clothes unless they are some shorts that fit. I hate clothes shopping.

I would like it more if I were a size 4 than what I am currently!

If your gym has a pool, water aerobics is great. Hopefully they have a instructor. It has really helped us as knees are shot & can't do most exercise out of water.

Lot's of folks think water aerobics is only for girls, but our class which averages 15/30, is about half and half.

Double dang----just withering away to nothing....what a problem!!! Just kidding you. You do such a great job of maintaining your weight and unknowingly, keeping me in line with what I should be thinking upon. I don't blame you for not wanting to shop as I hate it as well....when I need something, the thrift stores don't have it...when I am not needing, the clothes appear... Enjoy your weekend....

Ptrath, I started at size 18 jeans in 2012 so size 4 or the 3's shorts I bought make me feel awesome!! I know not as much to start as some, I could barely walk at 192 due to knee issues. Deanna no pool, I will switch gyms if I ever get a promotion, Gwen, thrift store shorts today and a pair of Mossamo slacks at 1/2 of 1/2 for $4.00. So $28.00 on 3 pair of pants, dang bought 3 shorts at a thrift shop $3.00 each and also 3 tops at a clearance store for $3.00 each. So not too bad. I guess I'm set for the summer. Glen, I get it you have to be dressed to match what you are doing. I also raided the thrift shop when I joined the gym and have bought other clothes to fit along the way. ;))

Glen, I like the results of shopping not the process. Now shopping for food or fabric, that's another story!!

Oh bet i love to shop for crafting. THis winter I think I may work on a quilts for when the kiddos graduate and move out. My husband hates when I have a new project. It means it cost money. he is blaming me for the reno

Pterath, my entire basement except a small bedroom and the laundry room is a quilting studio and there is another sewing machine set up in my living room. I have a professional long arm quilting machine and have quilted as a full time in the past. I love designing freehand quilting patterns. I have 2 book shelves full of spools and cones of thread and lots and lots of fabric. I'll be glad to get back to it once I get my house re-do projects completed.

My cellar is not fit for the living. I wish I had studio space!

I bought my house with a studio and an awesome kitchen as requirements in 2009. It was ugly, useable, depressing, and was redone first. I love love' my basement!!! It is bright cheery and a nice place to spend time in. It used to feel like a dungeon but it was workable. With a 14 foot machine you have to plan on it..... my kitchen was every workable but making it fit better to my needs. Many cellars are cellars and not nice places to spend time in, have had those in the past.

the bricks in this basement/cellar are deteriorating which means 1000s or red bricks chipped out and replaced and a ton of hoarder storage that needs going through. As it has a real cellar that is a 10x10 dirt floor winter veg storage leaves it very damp and smelling of earth. We will hopefully get it cleaned out after this massive project. ANd maybe even start replacing some of the bricks. Very low ceiling too I have to duck in alot of places. Cannot imagine it ever being a habitable part of the house. The part under the kitchen is the best and it is not great. My hope is Daughter graduates and moves out then her 15x15 room can become something for crafting. It has great light.

That would be a nice size room! I have lived in several houses with the old cellar type basements, dirt floor and bedrock for the walls. Not fun going through the hoarder stuff, 2nd ex turned into a hoarder with his psych issues. I love my basement about 750 square feet of studio. It includes a small cosy living area with a coffee table that the top pops up it makes a good cutting table and design table. My gazelle and some other exercise equip is down there also.
