Pretty good day today. Crazy Monday at work but stress rolled off, went to the gym. 45 minutes on the weight machines. My first workout since slamming my head on the floor. I took it fairly easy today, will increase slowly back to my previous level. Felt pretty good though. Not much energy once I sat down.

Baby Mom had a doc appt this afternoon, she's dilated to 2. So baby Cheylynn is getting closer to making her début.

I was bad though, but not too bad. Planet fitness does a pizza night the 1st Monday of the month. They brought it in just as I was finishing up. I did pick up one piece of pizza, mostly cheese with a few veggies. I was getting really hungry and had a stop yet to do before home. Haven't had pizza in a long time, several months anyway. Won't really hurt as my calories are less than they should be most days. Didn't fill me up for long though.

Puzzled look on my face - the words 'planet fitness' and 'pizza' in the same sentence. Sure, we are striving to get to the place that we are healthy & can have 'a slice' of pizza all in the same day but that almost seems like having a cocktail mixer at AA. Guess they want to make sure everyone renews their membership another year. Well done you on cheese & veggies and getting back on the exercise. Glad to read you're feeling better.

Yeah, they do that free pizza 1st monday of the month. I know odd, and they do get some negative comments online about it. First time I've been there when they brought it in. Actually not many people there and there was one other woman who helped herself. I would not have normally stopped, had less than 800 calories on Sunday and I was just hungry yesterday. Probably won't stop again. grins.

A slice will not harm you now eating the pie well that is a different subject.

They want you to eat the pizza so you keep coming back to the gym. They wouldn't want you to get all healthy and fit now would they? They really should bring in something...healthier...

I agree Sadie, on both counts. Too bad often the people who partake would be the ones who should not. A year ago no way would I have stopped. Since I'm at goal I'm trying to get enough calories to maintain. My body is used to the weight loss calories of 1200, I'm having trouble averaging over that. Still trying to log most everything. Eating healthy and working out is lifetime.

While I have to agree to the oxymoron of serving pizza at a health club, you definitely have the right attitude and such a wonderful, mindful approach! I'm so glad you're feeling up to working out again, my friend! xoxox

Congrats on getting back glad you are feeling well enough. Yeah one piece of veggie pizza isn't bad I remember the first time I heard about that pizza night, that's even too weird for me to comprehend. Lol
