Realizing this am my body is going into it's annual hibernation mode. Feeling lazy and all I want to do is sleep. This s NOT acceptable.

Will kick start my day on my gazelle for 30 minutes, this will have to be a daily routine. It helped last year. Then it's try for the gym daily, also helped last year. Strength training every other day, cardio the others. If I don't make the gym at least 30 minutes of exercise at home. This and the required vitamin D helped keep these winter blues away last year.

Will see if I can get 15000 steps in today as I only made it to 5000 yesterday. Need to work on getting organized for the week ahead; House clean and decluttered, some meals and bread made, laundry done. Didn't get the normal chores done yesterday, sidetracked with going through boxes of stuff.

Further reflection on my lethargic attitude. Yesterday I wore some old baggy sweats, a huge old t-shirt and a baggy old sweatshirt. Mmmmm affecting my energy, maybe. Before getting dressed this am I went through the pants in my upstairs closet, anything too big is now in the donation box. I am keeping a couple pair of jeans that need belts to hold them up so I have some work at home jeans.

I'm down to 3 pair of slacks for work, 2 pair of jeans, 2 workout Capris, and 3 workout long pants. Tops will be next.

I couldn't agree more. Weather not cooperating either. Rain all day yesterday, windy and cold today. First time this year the wind is whistling outside. You got the right idea, I think I'll kick start my day playing Rock Band (while I play, I do leg exercises). Have a nice day keep those blues away.

ON the fence here -- cold, need to hunker down & get some decent rest today but the kid in me wants to 'go, do something' while the adult knows tomorrow I'll be 'wah, so tired.. why didn't I rest when I had the chance...'

Good idea to donate those clothes that are too big. You are never going to need them again.

Bella, I crashed yesterday😊. Enjoy a rest day. I've been hauling bags to the salvation army for the past year as my clothes start falling off. De-cluttering my basement studio/living space/exercise space, piling up more stuff for donating.

It is certainly feeling like winter here too, and I'm also feeling the desire to hibernate as well. Thanks for the reminder that it's time to get up and going and onto my closet project too! xoxox

I just wanted to sleep in today too. But GS decided it was too cold for him to go to brother's two ball games. He was here early this morning so we just had a great, laid back day with "Flash" and "Arrow" shows I had taped. Have winter clothes piled up in bedroom, I try on a few at a time. So satisfying when some are just too big!

Awesome to be able to get rid of some clothing that is too big, instead of too small. Must be something to do with the time change, as I have felt energetic all day.

I bought clothes on ebay while I lost weight, both for the body I had while losting weight and the body I was going to have. You can get some nice things for cheap that way, and then turn around and sell them again once you don't need them anymore. I've made about $300 over the past three months selling my old wardrobe! LOL

Msmightypup, glad that s working for you buying on eBay. Congrats to you on smaller clothes!! I would have to try clothes on as I can never just go by the size. Not energetic, this winter approaching makes me want to sleep. Trying to force myself to move. Yesterday was better then Saturday.

Kattay, i've been inconsistent about exercise lately and my body is complaining. I need to get back at it, gym after work most everyday. If plans go well this week will get there everyday but Wednesday and then do 1/2 hour of something when I get home. Planning a visit to a natural foods supermarket on the other side of the metro after work. I'm partway there at work, so going from there saves gas.
