Still stable on the weight even on the drugs, +2 pounds is ok. Bike ride later today, yesterday the roads never dried off. WalMart and aldis trip this am, yuck! Will make it quick.

Hope to get my new/old grill cleaned the rest of the way and painted today and my housework done; Also a mid-afternoon trip into the farmer's market and will plan this weeks meals around my finds. Should feel good going into the work week instead of stressed and behind; as a bonus a couple projects completed or well on their way.

Didn't get too far yesterday as was scrapping residue from pulling tiles off my wood floor by my garage door. I think they put them down with liquid nail on top of the wood!!! Not quite done as I now need to sand it. When the battery on my tool would die. I'd go work on cleaning the gill. Hands are sore this am. It will feel good to have that project done. One more little job toward getting my home the way I want it.

Ugghhh, I've helped my parents over the years with some annoying tile removal projects. It's going to be great when you are done with it and you will have so much satisfaction knowing you did it yourself! Hope the farmer's market yields lots of yummy fruits and vegetables for your upcoming week.

i hate going to the grocery store, walmart or aldi. when i would go there or trader joe's, i would buy myself a chocolate bar as a treat for making it through. no more of that! i'll have to think of a new treat. i spend a great deal of time doing things and giving myself treats afterwards. mostly smoking. i should stop that too. we had an old house with tile over the hardwood. whatever possesses someone to do that? it was so hard to get it up. we had a little of that when we moved recently but paid to have it taken up. the floors look great. good luck on your projects.

It's weird, they put 3 layers of cheap vinyl tile with metal strips around it in front of the doors. I can sort of understand but that raised the floor level. My door from my dining room to the garage was a hollow inside cheapie door. I replaced it last fall for one up to code. Had to strip out the tile or cut the door, the door won. I've been sporadically working on it since. Finally almost done. Then will have to do the front door as that is waiting to be replaced this month. WalMart wasn't for groceries but I did take a peek at the beans as I needed some split peas. Was surprised as they had expanded their basics, bought a package of cranberry beans that I have been wanting to try. Aldi's wasn't open yet, didn't get there. I do avoid WalMart except for certain things. Yup quit smoking, tell my daughter and her dh that all the time. My treats are new cookbooks from thrift shops or the 1/2 price bookstore, a new toy like my grill/smoker. Dang I always make new projects for myself. :))).

Running out of time, still working on the inside which is the priority today. I will get to the grill another day this week. Have some good veggies for the week. Cranberry beans will be cooked and ready to use.

Haven't tried them before. Surprises me the different tastes of beans. They are cooling in the pressure cooker.
