oh really Anne? I don't have any problems with kefir but I usually take it in the morning on empty stomach but with fruits and cereals/weetabix if that helps!

If I have it with my breakfast I am fine. I thought I would experiment and not eat for a couple of hours with the thought that might be more effective. But I think it needs the food somehow.

Aw I missed this post! How is it going now Anne? I have read that it’s better to drink it with food just so it’s more protected from stomach acid, but it shouldn’t make too much difference. I do find that I feel nauseous having anything acidic on an empty stomach though and kefir has a similar ph to tomato juice

Interesting Nutricali, I didn't know Kefir has a similar ph to tomatoes. After Anne's post I was curious and I read as well that some of its probiotics may not survive in an acid stomach's environment so there is a greater possibility for them to escape faster from an empty stomach compared to a full one!

That makes sense. Thanks, Nutri. I take with my breakfast now and have no issues. I really feel great on it so thank you for the inspiration!

Claudia, I read that it could be the bad toxins getting released into the bloodstream causing nausea. But the acidic theory makes more sense to me.

It's the same reason they don't suggest to drink it just before bed time, to avoid cramps and restless nights...good way of learning in FS community!
Have a good day Anne and Nutri 😉👍

No problem, I love this study group 😊 I’m learning a lot! It’s amazing that 95% of serotonin is made down there, I just keep thinking ‘go with your gut’ lol have a great day you two 😊x

Hi Paul! The gym has been great. Nice and clean and well set up. I am not hanging about though. 30 mins on the stair climber, 30 mins of weights then out of there. I do stretching and core at home.

Sounds like you have it down to a fine tune but I wouldn’t expect anything less from you Anne. Your absolutely spot on about time limits I hear people say they spend hours in the gym but like you it’s not about doing an hour and increasing it to two if your normal work out is a hour it’s about fitting more into that hour then you did the day before I see people sat on their phones texting while trying to work out and think what’s the point. I never do core work outs in the gym always do them at home gym time is valuable at the gym so why waste it X

Yes, I never take my phone to the gym floor. I like to keep intensity and focus high and can't do that fiddling with my phone! I superset everything for speed too.

I come from a country where kefir is something people drink almost every day. It helps digestion and sometimes when me and my friend would be on a diet we would just drink 1l of it during the whole day
