has anyone experienced water retention after breaking a bone ?? on Monday I weighed 58.6 kg then in the afternoon I broke my humerus bone in my arm. then on Thursday i weighed 60 kg. my arm is swollen but also my thighs feel fatter etc. I may have put on a little weight bu surely not 3 pounds in 3 days. has anyone else had similar experiences ??

Not sure either but if you suspect it's water retention, drink as much water as you can. The more you drink, the less you retain.

I imagine the stookie will weigh a little? Plus your body has had a shock and pumped out hormones that may affect water retention. Painkillers can send things haywire too. But I am just guessing................I have never broken a bone either. Please get well soon.
