went for my first jog in yesterday - half an hour and a lot of sweat and effort (if I do say so myself) however I got back home with my legs about to buckle and my husband commented I hadn't been goine long and should have jogged twice as far and I was lazy??
Maybe I can increase over time but don't think I should until I've done this route a few more times

Try just try to add a little more whenever you feel like you can go a little further. Half an hour is better than none, it will go up when you get more used too it, but don't push yourself to go further too fast. If you end up hurting yourself you will have to start all over again.
