Someones brought donuts into work on a Friday afternoon! I was going to have a couple of glasses of wine tonight and relax, so I dont want to eat a donut - how do I resist temptation?

Sounds silly but I tell myself I’ve had one. That or I imagine myself eating it and it not being as nice as I’d hoped.

I try to upload calories before I've eaten them, put the doughnut and wine in, then check out all your stats and see if you're happy with it? Chances are you won't be and then you can just ignore them.

Hahaha jengetfit123 this comment actually made me LOL 😂 I just try to dismiss the craving like it's a silly thought and focus on other stuff and it passes... usually work this week however it's not we made fresh short bread biscuits my fave even though I managed to fit them in my diet OK surely a couple a day is more sugar than I need 😅🙈 hope you manage to resist better than me atm xx

Pleased to report that I steered clear and left them all in the office without eating any! I had a delicious juicy nectarine to distract me and stayed away from the kitchen.

Well done you! There are many days of cakes in the staffroom at work. Be strong, ignore and it can become second nature to abstain.

honestly? I'd have a doughnut. or split it in half with someone. allow for it in your calorie intake and work out a little to help burn it off. I'm not going to spend all my life resisting desserts, this is a lifestyle for me, so I have naughty things once in a while.
