Tis July 1st so a quick review of June. I feel pretty good about it. I'm down 6 pounds and my calories are averaging at a bit less than 1100 and I tracked all but a few days. No beer only a few glasses of red wine and have discovered that a glass of 100% cranberry or grapefruit juice is a good substitute for wine.

Exercise has been pretty good though would like to work in more gym days. With grandkids' baseball season winding down I'm hoping to get more in after this next week, time is an issue. My body is feeling more toned, some flab is gone (shoulda measured, didn't) and I did those couple laps of a crawl. I also need to set up a session with a trainer--my gym membership comes with 4 sessions @ no charge.

The morning rain has quit, we needed a slow soaking all day but will take what we can get. Mowing this am won't happen as planned. Tis a day to clean the frig and re-organize since the GD moved back home. I need to do some planning and cooking for the week. The 4th will be quiet for me as it's midweek again and have to work the next day so no traveling or big BBQ. Since I spent much of yesterday at the ball field it's a day to cram in all the weekend chores and also possibly trek 20+ miles north to take a friend some plant starts (if our schedules match) and buy chicken feed.
