Missed a workout yesterday as off work late again. Didn't do much after work besides dinner and be a bit lazy as tired after the week. The air quality probably had an affect after several days of orange ozone alerts and high mold counts.

A good workout this am, could have done more but my toe had had enough of being confined :(. Added weight to many of the exercises and added a couple exercises from the last time. Of course the steam room and whirlpool are a plus. Slowly getting back on track.

A cool front and storms moved through this am so an absolutely beautiful day. Am heading outside to continue yard work even though it may be pretty muddy.

Steam and whirlpool make it all worth it!

They are my reward! also they encourage me to get to the gym after work. Now to get back to a routine of some sort. May try to get to a water exercise class on Monday.

Take care of your toe. You will be up and going in no time. Your body probably just needed the rest. Steam and whirlpool sounds wonderful.

Haha The only real reason I ever signed up for the gym. Sauna, steam room and hot tub. Otherwise I can exercise (or not) at home for free. Boy I miss those perks since I can't afford them right now.

I’m supposed to be camping for ten days at Smithville Lake, starting next Friday. With this early heat wave and lousy air, I’m not sure I’m up for it! 😕

Kattay, with the dang health stuff since October, I'm tired of taking it easy. Time to push it since cleared by the docs now to do so. ;) Johanne why Smithville? Many more interesting places to go in Missouri. Be careful this coming week is supposed to be a tough one for air quality and heat probably exceeding 100. There isn't much to do up there besides the lake. This weekend is fabulous! Except for the gym I was outside all day yesterday and will be again today (sigh I have some housework that needs doing). I figure with the air and probably ozone alerts I will be inside most of the next week. Lorajean, I've tried the sauna, it feels good but my lungs don't like it much. I used to love them.

Thanks Glen, try the steam room. Where I go they have some eucalyptus in it which helps me. Go easy with those weights with back issues. I know I have to tread carefully with my neck issues and go rather slow adding more weights. Last thing I need is to have more discs fused. I all ready have 3.
