WOW!! I have not been here since June!! I need to get back on track. Working on daily exercise as a start. Baby steps. 1 mile walk today.

Another week flew by. Still working on getting back on track. Managed to re- blow the cervical discs i blew a few years ago so exercise is mostly my prior PT regime that has helped me. Blew them trying to pull my tiller out of underlying mucky mud. Not much accomplished so going into the week behind. Such is my world right now.
I do have some polenta cooked and some beans. A good dinner- a buckwheat noodle dish witn an oriental peanut zucchini sauce.
I ordered some books on hydroponics to research some options for growing fresh veggies and herbs.

A simple yummy addition to salads and a good snack. Home cooked garbanzo beans (chick peas) equal parts vinegar and olive oil. I used my recent favorite plum vinegar. And some herbs fresh or dried- i used herbs de province. Toss them in a container, seal and let them marinate at least a day in the frig. You could use rinsed canned ones.
I ate too much for dinner again even though portioned. I need to do smaller amounts. It tasted delicious so kept eating beyond what i should have.

It's been a couple weeks since i checked in. Been trying to organize my life to give me more free time. Raining so no plans today. The questions for today: what to do with all the plastic containers. Which ones to keep or toss. I just bought a set of glass containers 2 sizes 5 each. I think perfect for organizing And cooking meals for one. I am ordering a second set. Now how to portion the Already made soup and chili and finish prepping for the coming week.
Yesterday was a huge for me shopping trip replenishing staples. I still need to hit the oriental store. I have been reading vegetarian cookbooks including my new Moosewood one. I ordered a couple more from Thriftbooks.

Sunday turned into a wonderful day with my middle daughter, her DH and 4 of my grandkids. As it was chilly and wet out didn't do much. A great mother's day!! It was nice just to hang out with them, it's been a long time since we did that.
Keeping fingers crossed. The dentist my DD works for was informed that all the mask mandates will be lifted the end of the month!! Along with all the other restrictions!! Best news ever!!! That means going back to the gym!
Monday too long and trying of a work day.
