It is supposed to be another beautiful fall day. Getting a late start as couldn't sleep. I will be off to Natural Grocers and probably Aldis for a few supplies. I need a Wal-Mart stop for a mailbox and dollar tree for a couple of things. Then outside to dig more transplants. I am hoping to find more tulip bulbs.

I have found that in this world now I have to shop first then plan meals. So many shelves are empty hat one has to buy what is available. I fear they will be emptier over the winter with short supplies of fuel for trucks--that means fuel oil for heating may be an issue for those who depend on it.

Tomorrow I will start tracking food again. I have Bob's Red Mill 5 grain hot cereal cooking in my instant pot--will be enough for at least 4 breakfasts. For today thru Thurs. I am thinking lentils and rice, maybe a grain and nut stuffed winter squash. I will try a new bread from an Amish cookbook and some pumpkin muffins with toasted sunflower seeds in them. Then it's off to my cabin and meals often depend on family and freinds plans. Tracking is more difficult as I have no internet yet. Hope to try out my new grill.

Time to get a move on my day.

My world has been a whirlwind the past 6 months or so. I need some grounding as I need to again commit to this journey for health as I have been neglecting it for some time. I need to get my health back in the picture as a priority. It's hard to fit everything in. I and need to go grocery shopping tomorrow and somehow plan foods as it has proven to be difficult between 2 locations and working full time. I am at my house this weekend digging plants and bulbs to transplant.

I bought 4 acres in the woods near Truman Lake in S. MO this past July. It has a small cabin on it about 400 sq feet. i have been working on building a house--my daughter and son-in law will be the general contractors. We have an amazing plan with an incredible kitchen. Hoping we are able to get the construction started shortly. the little cabin is now livable enough that I can stay there instead of staying with my daughter which is good for me. I am there most weekends.

My feet and legs are suffering as I have gained weight back. I know that losing weight will help immensely. I need to get back on track. This journal and food tracking will help as it did before. I want to retire next year and move to my new home and continue to be active and healthy.
