Sorry for all of the journaling today... I just LOVE when my coworker sits next to me and is finishing up every last crumb in a large bag of corn tortilla chips, would not want to miss one single tiny morsel! UGH, finish the darn bag already! I am obviously on edge today....

Does anyone have a suggestion on getting more fiber in my diet when I feel things are not 'moving'? I do not want to add calories/fat/carbs, just need some extra fiber... TIA!

I am hungry this morning or maybe it is just the sound of everyone at their desks opening up their little carb filled snacks and eating. Ugh. Gonna keep drinking my water, 1.5 hours til lunch time, focus on happiness on the scale tomorrow morning... Amazing how your mind tries to justify a snack right now. I am not hungry, I am not hungry, I am not hungry.

I was scared to step on the scale this morning, not going to lie... But I know that NOT stepping on the scale allows me to gain weight and be in denial at times so I did it and was very happy with what I saw. I have eaten very well and got my water in, I just know how stalls work so was not getting hopes up. I think I am still learning what to balance in terms of carbs and fats, proteins for me will always be first and over 50% of my intake.

Ok so a little disappointing to see a .1 gain this morning but I think I know my problem over the last few days... TMI to elaborate but you get the idea. Also after much thought, I have changed my goal weight to 115. I was a tiny 113 in high school and I am thinking at nearly 40 and after having 3 children I am wishing just a bit too much to weigh lower than my high school weight. Both 110 and 115 are in a healthy weight range for my 5'0" frame so I think I need to be realistic. Once I hit 115 we will see where I go from there.
I bought mixed nuts the other day at the store thinking that would be a good 'go to' snack when I am running out the door and starving. Well, I am convinced there is too much fat in them and they also do not promote my digestive health so those will not be going in my mouth anymore. I think I need more fiber in my diet so trying to think of a healthy way to add that in without taking on more of the stuff that keeps me at this weight.
Again, this is just a bump in the road and I am truly taking it day by day. My goal weight is where I want to be March 15th for my 40th.

PS My mini goal of 130 was realized last week and I said I would do a mani/pedi. Well, I spent the money for my girls to play at SkyZone instead, a much better use of my money and their time! I really get more pleasure in doing for my children. Being back at a healthy lifestyle is reward enough for me!
