Great way to end the week. I am happy with my progress. Did not make it to the gym last night, my daughter had too much homework but did get house cleaned up and laundry done. I have a date tonight!!! Really nice guy, looking forward to it. This will be my cheat night. Foodwise, we are having seafood so I know I will be fine there but I will also have some red wine. I will get to the gym on Saturday. TGIF!!!!!

Got taken to an unexpected meeting out of the office today at lunch time (I had brought my mahi mahi and avocado for eating at the office). They had salad and chicken and brown rice and cookies and chips. I had the salad and chicken and maybe a 1/4 cup of rice. No cookies or chips. They also put 2 pieces of dark chocolate at each seat at the conference table. I put those in my purse. Now what do I do with them? I am holding off, I am not hungry and have not been craving sweets at all. I didn't want to be rude and not take them or hand them to someone else at the table. But I am also thinking it is 2 pieces of chocolate and I should be able to sensibly eat them, account for them and not feel bad. Sorry, just needed a brain dump so that I can get back to work and leave those two Dove Dark Chocolate sweeties aging in my purse. :-)

This is very encouraging. Ran sprints last night at the gym and worked abs... Went with a friend after workout to Panera and had about half of a chicken ceasar salad (which I had not really budgeted calorie wise) but this morning things looked fine on the scale. Pants are still uncomfortably snug, I think being back to 120 is where my clothes fit the best so I will keep plugging along.

Avocado: LOVE IT and am told that it has the good fat but I feel guilty eating it because of the high fat content and calories.
Anyone have convincing comments for me to stop being afraid of this food? I ate it last night (a whole one mind you) and felt bad. I mixed it with black bean pico and it was yummy!
