I live in NC, am married to a wonderful man and have lots of older children 15 - 28, I'm 49 and the the pounds have been creeping up on me yearly. At 5'8" I can carry some weight, but at the top level of my BMI, I'm not pleased with it. I used to be a skinny-minny until about 35. I could eat anything and as much as I wanted without gaining, but that has all changed! Thankfully, I have always tried to eat, for the most part, pretty healthy, but I like my wine! and that can pack on the pounds, particularly when I SNACK with the wine! Bad habit! I try to exercise, at least 10 minutes to an hour each day. Add hormones to a more sedentary lifestyle and you get = weight! We have a family wedding next month in Charleston, SC (YUMMY FOOD), so I need to lose some more so I can pig-out at the reception and over the weekend and to feel sexy in my new dress! Come on motivation!!
