Little pup is feeling more at home and she and crazy pup chase and play a lot so tons of exercise for both. Would love that much energy!!

Exercise for me today is working in the yard. Lots of plants to trim and bed down for the winter. This perfect warm fall weather will not last forever. Also the first job is washing floors with a vinegar and peroxide mix where there have been little pee puddles, haven't caught everyone and especially overnight not all managed to be on the pee pad. She does seem to be getting the idea at least some of the time LOL. Baby steps for pups as well as us in our journey.

I also need to make a pot of veggie soup and maybe chili for the week ahead. I have some ground pork from Sprouts 93% lean that would make a nice addition to chili. It will again be a busy week so having a quick healthy go to for work lunches and even dinner would really help my week.

My maple tree in the front yard has a few crimson leaves, soon it will be a blaze of color.

Love the 'baby steps' comparison drawn between puppy housebreaking and this journey -- so true!! Are the new trainees at work getting up to speed yet -- i.e., when is 'relief' in sight? And speaking of outdoor work, how goes the situation with your welcome-overstaying neighbor?

Leigh, neighbor isn't feeling well I've talked to her briefly each day as I do check on her. All is good there, I will take her some chili and check on her once it is done. No trainees yet they will start in a couple weeks and it will be about 8 weeks before they are ready. Lots and lots to learn. At least they should be up and running by the end of the year craziness and then into tax season. I want to take a nap like the pups, still haven't made it outside as catching up inside has taken much longer than I planned. Way things go somedays. Much done though, so a good day. Tomorrow is a stop for tea and then a flu shot and hopefully some work on the yard after work.
