Hope everyone had a great weekend. I need to make sure when I am at my cabin that I take this laptop down to my daughter's where there is internet.

I have not stuck to my WOE but did get some exercise in. I bought a small battery operated. Only a 6 inch blade so one that I can handle. I cleared a lot of small volunteer trees with up to about 4-5 inch diameter trunks and hauled them to the pile of trees that been cleared by a former owner.

The weather was perfect on Sunday and if I didn't have to drive home would have gotten more done. Sat was incredibly windy. I have Wed and Thurs off --co. denied Friday.. The weather is supposed to be warm then cold starting Friday so decided to go back down to the cabin after work on Tues and stay home the weekend.

I'm finding that it is soo hard to plan food between 2 places. I have a new spur for a goal. I may go on a cruise in July. I need to decide by the weekend so I can get reservations in. I don't want to spend the money really with the new house but I've never been on one. Might be a last chance to try--hard to tell. Well time to get my work computer going.

Oh gosh .... the opportunity to go on a cruise .... or save money for the house. Decisions, decisions. LOL! We just can't keep putting our lives on hold for the what if's in life. Do what your heart desires. It would be very hard to stay on track with the WOE but you can try to keep your choices as healthy as you can. I am excited for you and all the plans ahead you are making. I have one of those little 6 inch saws and haven't gotten to use it yet. My hubby and I both have one because of all the downed trees this past year (and the property we bought behind us needs to be cleaned out). Take care of yourself.

Sandy, I love the little saw! I spent yesterday cutting saplings and found a couple hickorys that will make great walking sticks. I need them for traversing the rock and my hill. Twas quite a workout. A hike exploring some of my woods this am. It was a good couple of days. the cold front hit on my way home and dropped 3 degrees-went from sun to pouring rain. My body hurts with the weather change.

Sounds like you did have some enjoyable days! I finally got to use my 6 inch hedge trimmer day before yesterday. I swear these little power tools are the bomb! I didn't think it would have enough power but I got through trimming most of the 5 large yew bushes (and cut down some flowers in beds in between) before it wasn't cutting as well. It was much easier to shape the buhes with it, too. I did use my little saw to cut down some saplings where our camper stays in Abingdon. It was easy peasy. I forgot about that. I was hurting yesterday, too ... the temps did drop here, also.

Good for you MS Sandy!! I am a absolute fan of power tools. My son-in-laws laugh and buy me tools for Christmas. They think they have a crazy MIL. Oh well--they do. I love them both. Now the 3rd one -now another story. I did have a good 2 days off now to get some work done this weekend on my current house Basic stuff
