Have been avoiding the scales for a while now. Work has been absolutely insane so I have fallen back to my old naughty ways of eating, mostly because I spend 12h a day, 6 days a week at work. Snacking has been inevitable, I'm too exhausted to even go to the shop for provisions😔

Don't be too hard on yourself. You'll soon be back on track. At least you recognise your habits and the reasons for them. I hope work gets a little easier to give yourself a break. Take care x

That is an intense working week! No wonder you're exhausted, you'd have to be wonder woman to do all that and still find time to plan and cook healthy meals. Forget the scales for a while and just try and focus on looking after yourself x

Aww that does sound exhausting. Are you getting enough sleep? Don’t be hard on yourself, some rest and a clean slate is what you need. You will come back stronger xx

That's it, I'm posting you a cabbage

Pauly, all I can say is "CRACKERJACK"!😂 Toffee go easy on yourself, its a long haul and there's no rush. I too have horrendously long working hours and a long week and it is a mission of planning to make it work. I completely get that sometimes it is so hard to find the energy. Try to make a little time for you too 😘

If it was only this week, I'd be fine, this has been going on for a month now. Lol, what's sleep and time for myself? I have naps, home is just a place to shower and change clothes. If anyone has spare time, I need someone to dust my house and convince the giant spider who has moved into my bathroom, to leave. I'll pay in raw cookie dough, coffee and beer, as that is all I have at home at the moment 🤣 Pauly,is the cabbage tastily sliced? 👀

It sounds really tough and I do understand, as mine is not for a week either. I do those kind of hours every week permanently. I work a minimum of 60 plus staying away overnight too and a couple of private support jobs on top. I work in complex care. You're right and whatever the role, the hours you do are hard and exhausting. I'm sure you are doing the best you can for yourself at the moment and that is all you can do. 😘

PS. I like spiders 🕷 and am always happy to have bucketfuls of coffee ☕ 😊

Pebbles, I'll leave the key under the mat for you. The grinder and cafetiere are in the cupboard, the coffee machine with a built in grinder is on the worktop and if you rummage, you'll probably find some Nescafe, too. Bring milk. The spider is hostile, you have been warned. 😂

Oh, I forgot. There are 5 types of beans to choose from, depending on your mood, they'll be in the cupboard too. Once Pauly posts the cabbage, there will be snacks as well.

Lol 🤣🤣😂. Mmmm cabbage, I can't wait🤢 You sound like a coffee connoisseur. How fabulous. I love fresh coffee, but I have never ground my own beans 😋 . I am a spider whisperer and spidy will be putty in my hands. Tell him if he packs his lil bags and leaves now I will give him a head start on the eviction process 👍

The cabbage will be tastily sliced, no need to make that face. 😂. I make coffee for a living, so I like options at home, too. It's about the beans, never about frilly coffee with syrups and such. Haha, I shall have a stern word with the spider next time I run into him. He only comes out when I'm not home, our schedules overlap by only about an hour or so and not every day. You'll need to be on spiderwatch👀

Glad to be of service, Jem. I do have that spare room if you'd like to branch out and not make soups all day...Pebbles can keep you company when not on SpiderPatrol. 🤔 I'll be the one turning up for dinner, breakfast is coffee and I make my own so you can sleep as long as you like.

This is hilarious! The cabbage is tasty but will arrive unsliced. That's on you and the spider. I think you need some more time off, or at least should get supermarket delivery? I'm an overworked teacher but think I get more free time than you!!

You really think I could convince the spider to slice the cabbage? 🤔 Lol, Pauly, I remember the days when I was an overworked teacher, you're right, there was more time off back then. More of them...pesky kids around, too😂

So let me get this right.... I'm giving my expertise in spider snagging and removal for free....and the cabbage may or may not even be sliced, dependent upon whether spidy can be arsed. Coffee is good to go as long as it isn't frilly...which actually is fine as I am an Americano amde with single origin beans kind of lady. I like my coffee strong and bitter, a bit like me....no something isn't quite right there I think. 🤔

Pebbles, you need to be patient. We will need to sweeten the deal for Jem, she is an expert at slicing cabbage, if the spider does turn out to be a freeloader. You're right about the coffee, the stronger the better, I like mine so the spoon stands up in it, beans are mostly 100% Brazilian or Colombian arabica. I don't like to mix. I'm not so sure how the spider is, I don't think he likes me much, hence the need for your whispering skills, perhaps he can be convinced to make the coffee and do some light gardening, too. 🤔
