I finally got round to making a huge batch of tamales! I’m soo glad to have a variety now ready to go straight from the freezer 😄 (mushroom, refried bean and green-chilli-corn pictured here.) Instead of lard I used vegetable stock and a little oil ✌️😊

Are you a fan of tamales chestnut? I’ve heard the best ones are pork, but I stick with the veggies :)

Nutricali to be honest with you i don't think i have had a genuine temales, i take it you make very good ones.

I am new to making them, but I love eating them! With this recipe I can make 30-40 and put most in the freezer. Fingers crossed I’ve always got something delicious and healthy waiting for visitors, or my hourly walk past the kitchen 😂
