Drinking a glass of water when I "think" I am hungry - is a great way to discipline myself between meals.

i totally agree, this is one of the ways to try to control my self and shut up that beast inside me :)..... here is some general tips you add to your daily routine: try limit your weight measurements to be once a week and make it at the same time every time you measure.......best time to measure is the first thing after you wake up and take your bath..... The day before the weighting day try to take your last meal at 5pm at that day and just stick with water ,tea, coffee and herbal tea "no sugar or use diet sugar-stivia plant-"........ Daily, try to take your last meal at 7pm and first meal at 9am. We call this (Intermittent Fasting Diet IF - it is all about to have only liquids limited to water black coffee or tea, herbal tea without sugar or diet sugar) within 14 to 18 hours of your day, including sleeping hours) make it a habit and don't let anyone beat you in it….. Of course, if you have health issue you need to take doctor advice

I love IF - thank you for the tips. I typically only eat my first meal at 14.00 - last at 19.30. This feeding window works well for me. I also did a 3 day water fast. My body needed it.
