I am 51 and in March 2012 I was at my heaviest weight 212 pounds. I have always been overweight and have been trying to lose weight all of my adult life. Quite often I would loose a few pounds and then put it back on with a few more. I was doing very well until August last year and due to some personal family stuff and myself being quite ill, l went off the rails again. I almost gained back most of the weight I had lost. I became quite depressed with everything including my weight gain, but now I am back again and even more determined to do it this time round!

I now have two wonderful Lurchers rescue dogs, (Mishka & Buddy) and we go on lovely walks together. More recently I have taken up swimming again, which is a great way to exercise!

The right direction this time 😊

Well a small loss, but a loss all the same. I appear to be staying around 148 to 149 pounds. Still want to get to just under 140 pounds, my ultimate goal! ...
