Day 49 Seven weeks dieting and a smidge off 10Kg lost in total. The last three days have been 16/8 IF - I get to eat breakfast today at 10 o'clock. My monthly averages are well on track. For a change I slept like a log for seven hours and for the second week I have kept my alcohol below 14 units. It is definitely getting a little tougher for me to diet so I think the honeymoon start I had is now over. Yesterday I was really tempted by grapes biscuits and the smell and look of my wife baking some home made granola - All left out on the worktop.

Today we are off to London to visit Lucy our 26 year old daughter. She works stupid hours and we only see her a few times a year. I am looking forward to that, she is a RPITA but lovely.

Have a good Sunday everyone

I was wondering what nursing specialty RPITA was ... until I twigged 😂😂. There's definitely a honeymoon period with losing weight. I guess like a marriage, you have to work at it at times and sometimes you just want to walk away. Keep your eyes on the prize though - being healthier and looking trimmer. Safe trip to the Smoke!

Well done for sticking to your diet when times get tough. 10kg is a really amazing amount of weight to lose! Be proud and don't give up. Best of luck!
